We believe Thunder Bay Trees is the internet’s only video blog dedicated solely to the topic of trees, tree care, arboriculture, forestry and urban forestry-and it is based out of Thunder Bay!

Episode 10: Pest alert for mountain-ash sawfly

On July 8th, 2010 I got a bit of a surprise when I was dragging my garbage to the curb. My mountain-ash had a lot less leaves than I remembered. The culprit? Mountain-ash sawfly. Check this video out, and during the season, as I learn about pest outbreaks I’ll try to do a quick episode about them and how to keep your trees healthy.

Here’s a bit of good information from Natural Resources Canada’s website.
